Hentch Forth

The Wandering Step play Manchesters Bierkeller on the 21st of March. This special night is organised by the Blowout collective and features Detroit garage heros The Hentchmen.

Hit the road 'step

The Wandering Step hit the asphalt again and head out to the North West with shows in Wigan and Manchester. More shows to be announced soon.

Happy New Year folks, the holidays are over and its back to the McJob for you!

In response to the Xmas CD, loads of you have written in with your own Xmas stories, they have touched our hearts in many (non pervy) ways. Thank you. Shame upon shame to the miser who saw fit to put his free festive CD on ebay though, that kind of behaviour I would expect from Jonboy but not from a normal person...shocking!

Yuletide Schtep

Last Christmas we gave you our heart and the very next day you threw it away. This year to save us from tears we've recorded a little christmas ditty and we're sending it out FREEBIE style to anyone who wants one. One bad apple turns Preston sour...

The Wandering Step will be launching a new monthly club night in Preston on the 3rd of December. More info on the Bad Apple Club as we make it up. Also playing will be Akoustik Anarkhy troubadours Loose Canon and Chorlton B-Boy Silva Surfa...should be something special.

Wigan will have to wait

News for all Wiganers, put yer pies down and take head!! Unfortunately the organisers at the Lux club have had to postpone the Wandering Step show on the 3rd of November due to the club having a facelift or something. We'll let you know when the show gets re-organised!!

The Wandering Step have parted company with guitar strummer Dan Amos for health reasons. The three remaining Wandering Steps wish Dan all the best for the future. Any budding guitar strummers out there can send nekkid pictures of themselves to Horatio. Because lets face it we all need a good laugh every now and again.

Fractured Drummer Kicks The Dust 26/02/2004

Devilish drummer boy Dave Chambers, has been been put out of action thanks to a reckless challenge whilst in action on Wednesday night on the fields of Preston. Chambers was alleged to be skinning the opposition's defence when the shameless thug, caught flat footed by Dave's lightning pace, felled the skin-beater with a frenzied barge. Chambers, running on adrenaline alone, was stretchered off and taken to casualty with a fractured wrist, and will sit out the rest of the season, damning both his team and The Wandering Step's imminent plans. We'll keep you updated with the chap's progress, and send him your deepest, heartfelt well wishes.
